This past week I have visited home, Christmas celebrations, really fulfilling feasts, but the thing that is most important on the visit back to Yorkshire, is to walk in the Dales. Put on the boots, cagoules, the hats and gloves and walk into the crags, the green, the beautiful scene.
It was rainy and grey, but after moving to London, all of this was all I needed. Malham was ours...six people, limestone pavements, waterfalls and all that clean, enkindling air.
Happy new year all of you, lets make this year something wonderful.
