Colourless green ideas sleep furiously

SUN IN THE NIGHT

In the mysterious dark
Even time was sleeping,
And you murmured wonderful things
Unending things
real and natural.
We laid
Seeing for miles
Through all the darkness
The stars staring back at us
Square in the eye.
What I remember most..
Your fingertips,
Tasting of the flowers in your pockets.

SO GREY, SO OLD, SO WRINKLED.
